The directions are not as well pictured as they might be, but I figured it out, washed out the parts, and re-assembled the item. It kept the coffee hot for several hours, allowing me to have regular coffee done ahead and use the coffeepot to brew decaf later. Fills easily with the spout mechanism removed and pumps easily when used. Handy for any family gathering for coffee-lovers.
Good product I cannot assess this product, for it was too large for my family’s use; however, we bought one for the church, and it’s wonderful!! Does everything it’s supposed to do.
Waste. DO NOT BUY!!!! Top bellows can not be properly cleaned without disassembling the top. Instructions inadequate in this regard. Lever mechanism broke after first use and cleaning. Waste.
