Looks like it will do the job I need it for I bought this solely to hold hot water to add to loose leaf tea/concentrated brew tea. I drink something called yerba mate which is loose leaf tea put into a special designed cup for it, sugar on top, then you add hot water every time you want to refill the cup. Or I use red loose leaf tea in a french press, to make a concentrated amount and add hot water to it in the cup. I had a plastic thermos where you would have to loosen the top to pour anything out but sadly the gaskets around the top…
the carafe keeps coffee hot for 7 hours and tasting very fresh without any bitter taste. I used the carafe to keep fresh brewed coffee hot which it went beyond my expectations. Not only did the coffee stay hot for hours but it tasted fresh-brewed and never got bitter even after 7 hours. The luck of the carafe is very sleek and modern and blends with all decor’s.
Great for keeping coffee fresh and hot I always fill the Carafe with hot water first to warm the insides before adding the Coffee. Keeps it fresh and warm for several hours. Perfect for what we were looking for.
